Enhanced Youth Outreach
PYS' Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker (EYOW) is part of a provincial team created to support youth, up to age 25, who may have difficulty connecting to services and will benefit from intensive one-on-one support in the community. The EYOW Program Counsellor works with youth and their families to better navigate and connect to services and opportunities. Recognizing systemic barriers to accessing timely mental health services, the Enhanced Youth Outreach is also able to provide clinical counselling to youth. This program complements the community outreach, prevention and intervention service undertaken by the Youth Outreach Worker at YES (Shelter for Youth and Families).
